Water treatment is where it all began for Tol Watertechniek. Besides ozone systems, we’ve also been building systems for water treatment since the start. Our systems for water treatment are for example used for ponds, pools, zoos, breweries and in fish farms/aquaculture.
We use a combination of mechanical and biological filtration in the majority of the systems for water treatment. Let’s take a fish farm as an example, here, we’d place drum sieves to remove the mechanical pollution. After that, a biological filter breaks converts ammonia into nitrite and eventually into nitrate. Nitrate can then be broken down into nitrogen or be removed by ion exchangers. Besides that, ozone is used to remove pheromones or chemicals.
All our systems for water treatment were designed with a low energy consumption in mind, whether it’s biological purification or an ozone system. Of course we also make sure it’s convenient to use. Where other companies drop out, we’ll continue to help you. Our systems are fully automatic and can be controlled remotely. This makes sure you’ll have access to your system wherever and whenever. This also enables us to monitor the system remotely and even perform software updates for you. This saves us time and saves you money!
