Tol Watertechniek builds complete filter pits according to your wishes. These filter pits are used for koi ponds and aquariums. However, we also build containers equipped with a complete filter installation for fish farms and zoos for example.
The contents of these filter pits are very divers, in koi ponds for example, a drum or combifilter i soften applied. In fish farms and zoos, the common choice is a drum sieve or a biological filter. This can be expanded with ozone and protein skimmers. Our filter pits can be completely custom-made, with a filter system according to your wishes.
Complete filter pits
It is of course possible to automate these intallations up tot he point where they automate fully automatic. This also applies to the other filter installations. This way, it’s possible to achieve a (nearly) maintenance free filter. The vortexes on the top photo are two automatically flushing ones, part of a filter installation for a municipality pond of 360m³. This filter system is built in a concrete basement, shown in the picture below. This basement was placed fully underground!
