Various methods are being reviewed to prevent\/minimalize the spread of the Ebola virus. Good hygiene is of great importance and ozone can definitely be useful. Ozone can\u2019t just be used to disinfect drinking water, entire spaces can be disinfected with ozone. Plains for example, or hospitals. Ozone can also be used to wash linen. There are even studies that are looking into the application of destroying the Ebola virus in blood.  \nA virus is inactivated by ozone because it damages the virus\u2019 RNA \/ DNA structure. A virus doesn\u2019t have a repair mechanism so the inactivated virus can no longer multiply and tolerance or resistance can\u2019t occur. \n\nOzone is now beginning to get used to treat Ebola.
