The disinfection of rinse water is getting more important nowadays. Especially when it’s used to clean bottles and crates and things like that. Ozone is a good alternative for traditional disinfectants: it is environmental friendly and does not leave any chemical residues.
More and more packaging is getting reused, (soda) bottles and crated to transport food for example. To reuse this packaging safely, it is necessary to disinfect them properly. On one hand because it is unknown what the packaging was used for in the meantime. On the other hand because there, of course, can’t be any germs in/on the packaging.
Disinfecting rinse water with ozone can be used to clean and disinfect crates and bottles. The advantages of ozone are clear:

In almost all cases, it is possible to integrate an ozone system into the water supply of a bottle/crate washer. Adapting the washer itself mostly aren’t necessary and it saves a lot of water in most cases, which is why ozone is a very interesting disinfectant
